Kicking off what will be a monthly event for Central Texas AMOC members, this relaxed & informal gathering of classic
and high performance automobiles was a HUGE success.
In spite of 30 degree weather, over 130 cars turned out for our
1st ever "Cars & Coffee". The hot chocolate and coffee kept us warm, and the town of Leander welcomed
us with open arms. We are eagerly looking forward to February's gathering.
Thanks to Sonny Morgan of
"John Eagle European" for making this event possible !!________________________________________________________
January 22-24th, 2010 - Rough Creek Lodge Weekend

Rough Creek Lodge in North Texas is a private shooting estate set among thousands of acres of open land. It combines
the civilized amenities of an English Manor House with the type of sports shooting & hunting found only in the
wilds of the Texas back country.
If this were Hollywood, it would be: "Gosford Park
meets Bonanza" !!
Ten owners plus spouses enjoyed three days of gourmet food, spirited
driving, sporting clay target shooting and general merry-making. By the unanimous decision of all attendees,
this is likely to become an annual fixture on the AMOC Red River calender.
Thanks to Sonny Morgan of "John
Eagle European" (yet again) for helping sponsor this event !!________________________________________________________
